This is Dog, the egyptian from the local zoo. He's so FAT! He's really friendly and cute(and huge!), but he's getting on in years and has run into some health problems... He's got some blockage issues, as is pretty obvious... I can't believe how fat the base of his tail is!!!!
Anyway... I was at the zoo taking tons of pictures today and just thought I'd share this one...

Wow - he is massive! Any idea how old he is? Or at least how long he's been there at the zoo?

Hmmm... I'm not quite sure how old he is. They used to have 3 Egyptians and he's the only one left, been there as long as I can remember. It was really funny when all 3 were still there, there'd be a stack o' lizards under the basking light, lol!

Dog is one big egyptian. Do you know how old he is? I'm trying to find out more about egyptian uromastyx since I am still thinking about getting one. I'm still going to wait until its warmer outside though.
