Mealworm beetles how do i remove them easily ne one got any tips on the issue NP

I remove the pupae and then when they turn into beetles they don't do it all at once so you can easily pick them out. It also depends on the size of the mealworms, if they are small I'm sure you could use a sifter and the mealworms would go through and the beetles would stay.

I leave a number of egg cartons on top of the tray of mealworms. I place grated carrot onto the egg cartons. The beetles climb onto the egg cartons and you can just pick up the carton with the beetles on it. You need to remember to do this 24 hours before you need them, but it's that simple.Works just as well for collecting the mealworms themselves, too.
