Can anyone help decide what is the best UVB light for my Panther Chameleons? I've been using Zoo Med's Powersun and have become dissatisfied with their failure rate. What about these Westron UVB lights from Reptile UV?

I can't say enough good things about Westron bulbs. I have bought over $1000 worth of lights from them and they genuinely work (I have a UV meter to check). They offer a lot of products specific for chameleons.

I'd love to get a uv meter, where did you get yours?
I"ve also heard alot of good news on the merc vapor lights although have no first hand experience with them yet. For a chameleon they may be too hot though unless a HUGe cage is used.
You need to check out the website.
Not all MV are UV AND heat lamps. Mega-Ray bulbs are usually 60w bulbs, so you need a separate heat source. They make products just for chameleons. They also sell UV meters.
Fluorescent bulbs are a joke compared to these, self-ballasted MV bulbs are a waste of money compared to these.
