Question about temperature variant from warm to cold side...more

bmills Jul 04, 2003 02:28 PM

I have my 2 leos in a 20 gallon long, and they sit at 90 degrees on the warm side, with the humid hide and a dry hide, and then 85 on the cooler side, with 2 more dry hides. Is this variant good enough?

I would lower the temperature on the "cool" end, 85 is a tad too warm. I set my heat tape at 90 degrees and the "cool" (unheated) end of the enclosure is at room temps (upper 70's).

Hope this helps!

Sounds good for the warm side, but I like to keep my cooler side about 75-80.
