i was just looking at a classified on another site where a female p.m. grandis had gigantic chalk sacs bulging from her neck. is that normal?

i was just looking at a classified on another site where a female p.m. grandis had gigantic chalk sacs bulging from her neck. is that normal?
They get larger in some individuals than in others. They tend to put alot in these sacks as they are laying eggs. That female was stated to be a heavy breeder, which could be possibly a reason why she had the large calcium sacks. I have a female Stenodactylus sthenodactylus like that. How do you like your wc? Nice Phelsuma aren't they?

oh man it is awesome. i wish i could have caught more, but we didnt see many till the end of the trip. the other guys from the trip are compiling everyones pics, so i should be able to post some more soon. but the male i kept is doing fantastic, although he's still pretty jumpy.
