hey all,
a little while back i posted that my female leo was really sick. her eyes were shut and and she wasnt moving much. just found her this morning even worse than before, but this time, her tail was shrinking. the only time she moved was when I flipped her on her back, she would flip back on her belly, and her eyes were shut. this makes me worried and angry, I cannot seem to find out what the problem is so I am going to the vet today after school at around 4:00. I believe she has parasites.

It sounds pretty bad, and it may be too late. See what the vet says and let us know! Hope she does get better.

Leopard Gecko Care Sheet

Never put a leo on it's back!!!!! They can't breath like that. Other then that hope the vet goes well.

The very same thing happened to a Baby Patternless I had bought just before X-Mas. It ended up dieing 2 weeks ago. I had Everything right, The only thing I could think of was that I was given a Baby Leo that was Badly de-hydrated & was dieing when I got it. I tried to get it back to health & it died. So, I used the same Viv... (Not thinking of Parasites at the time...) & then I must have infected this little Gecko with whatever ailed(sp?) the one my friend gave me. My Vet was booked up & I had an appointment 2 days after it died...

Are you only checking on this guy every so often? In any case, I wish you and that little one The Best Of Luck!!!! Hope all goes well at the vet, and its not too late.
