What is the back ground info on them? Are they 100%? Very cool.
Best of luck with them!

Looks like a crawl x hog island cross.

Here's a pure Crawl Cay:

I'm very interested to know more about them. Have any other oddities been born? Any idea on if they are genetic, or could they possibly be due to improper "incubaton" temps?

Please email me if you could. cat@lowergroundreptiles.net

thanks!

Hey Cat,
Who produced that little beauty? Very nice looking boa. If you got that from who I think you did, then your in for a treat when it matures into an adult! I have seen the founding stock in person and they are OUTSTANDING!
Best of luck with your boa,
Eric

She's a CB 2003 from Russ Mercado. The male ended up having neurological problems and I no longer have him. If you know of anyone with a male, let me know

Yes, that is who I thought you had purchased her from. The father of your boa is a very nice boa... tame as a kitten. He looks a lot like the Crawl Cay in the 'Boa Constrictor Manual'. I have spoken to Russ on several occations and his stock is very nice. He is the only person that I know of that produces these sweet boas.
If you don't mind me asking, what happened to the male you had?
Best of luck with her,
Eric

The male (who was a poor eater from the start) began showing signs of which I thought was IBD, but turned out he had a neurological problem. I ended up adopting him out to a friend of mine. My friend still has him, but he is still a very poor eater and hasn't grown much. I still have the female, and she has been fine. She is about 2 1/2 feet long and eats any rodent I give to her.

I was hoping to get another male from Russ this year, but haven't seen him post any ads. I lost his email when my computer crashed.

Yeah, I don't know if Russ had any babies this year or not, but I can certainly send you his e-mail address if you would like it. I don't have it at work with me right now, but I can send it to you later tonight.
