Size range on Hogg x BCC Peru.....n/p.....?

big_dragonfly Jan 12, 2005 07:45 AM

When I got this snake, I was told that it was a hogg x bcl...which was believable to me b/c of the stripes that go over the tail spots. I thought that was unique to the bcl's. But after looking at lots of different boa picures, I'm leaning towards the notion that this snake is Hogg x BCC peruvian. My understanding is that the BBCs are the largest boas. So I would like to know what I should expect size wise with this cross...I'm not sure on its sex.

Thanks,

Jon

I have a Suri X Hog. Because of the Surinam influence I know she is going to be big. She is about five foot, but lean like a BCC. However her metabolism is that of the imperator influence. Results in a big girl that eats a lot. She is an '02.

I received it in a trade deal this year. It is an 03 baby.
The Color is all Hogg Island but the Markings are very Peruvian. It is one of my smallest 03 babies (In fact is my smallest) but at the 18 month mark still appears to be courting and breeding. I assume that he is going to be small. He has nasty temperment, but the other male one that I had was good intemperment. I think that it is just a matter of which influence was greater.
Good Luck
