Have you guys heard of this supposedly new mutation in hondurans called...

Conserving_herps Jan 12, 2005 08:56 AM

this new mutation in honduran called "sunrise honduran"? And even a "hypo sunrise honduran"? And is this mutation already proven at all as a dominant or recessive gene (whatever the case may be)? Apparently, there's a couple of ads a few days ago selling these guys... any input? or any pics anyone wants to share or post to see the difference between a "normal sunrise honduran" and a "hypo sunrise honduran"?

thanks...

Hi,
Its only one guy calling them that, its Guy Clark-(where guys a nice guy, and has nice hondos) but they arent a new moprh at all, they are just a tri-colorish hypo with more orange tipping in the inner bands that gives them a more orange look there, there are lots of hypos out there with the exact same coloring on them, he just calls his that, I doubt he'll get what hes asking for them though, too high of a price for a hypo hondo that looks liek many other hypo hondos out there. Even Shannon brown and i were looking at them at a show before, shannon has tri-color hypos with the same coloring, the "sunrise" name on them is just a given name that Guy gave them, they arent a new mirph of hypos or anything, he has one that is really nice looking, but i wouldnt call it anything different than a hypo hondo.Hope this helps,

Thanks Jeff. Yeah, i saw his website and that's when I wondered if it really is a new morph mutation discovery of some sort. I appreciate the clarification...
