Eating

goatman Jan 12, 2005 11:43 AM

How often should a baby corn eat? My candy cane would eat every day if I let her, while my okeetee is having issues... It's going on day 8 and he won't eat. 9 days ago he shed and ate the following day. He hasn't even looked interested in the pinky. He's in a 29g natural terrarium, plenty of places to hide and temps ranging from 68-88 from end to end. Anyone with thoughts please share.

29g tank for a baby is way to big right now. they like to feel secure in a small enviroment. i have my baby corn in a 5 gallon tank with a couple of hides, paper towel substrate. 1/3 of it setting on a human heatting pad for warmth. she is doing great.

another thought would be to feed in a seperate container. i used the deli cup for a while when my bigger corns were babies. just place the baby and pinky in the cup and leave it alone for a while.
just my thoughts...
