Tangerine boas......

ajfreptiles Jan 12, 2005 12:24 PM

I would like some imput on something....

Those Davye pastels glow with a very yellow color, so if you crossed that with a red boa you should get orange...correct? Keep breeding those and breed to an albino to create orange albinos. What does everyone think about this?

This looks like what may have happened in that tangerine crawl cay boa..

Thanks Andy

The tangerine crawl cay is a joke. There are not many Crawl Cay Belize boas produced much less a line bred morph. They are very rare, and many Cay Caulkers are sold as such. I doubt even if it did have Crawl Cay blood. Either way it is NOT pure.

I pitty the person posting it if they bought it as such, because whoever sold it lied.

It looks like the one posted below may be, or probably is, a
sibling.

Someone will surely buy them and attempt to start a 'new' morph
line.

pardon? you critiscising European breeders with 15 years of breeding of crawl cays who supply almost all of the German and japanese and UK market for these animals year in year out with articles published in European herp Magazines, websites and even a Japanese Boa specialist book??????Gaz

the tangerine crawls are from a single male animal born here to normal parents that had orange all over his body, unfortunately he died after a single mating age 6years length 3.75foot,a truly small adult in keeping with his locality

I would love to know more about the breedings, and would love to see more pics. Thanks for the e-mail. Andy
