Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to put a picture in a post?

First off your picture needs to be hosted on the internet somewhere. I believe kingsnake.com has a gallery somewhere where you can upload photos to, or perhaps your ISP provides some webspace.

then find out what the URL of your photo is. When viewing the photo on the internet, right click on it and click properties. The URL will be next to Address [URL].

should look something like http://www.yoursite.com/turtlepic.jpg

Then type the URL (or copy and paste) into the box below where you type for a post that says Image URL:

That is the easy way to add 1 image to a post.

The other way, or to add more than one photo is to use the img tag.

I have to use the "quotes" or it would actually try to post the image.

Also, use the preview message button to see if it worked.

If not, click the Edit Message button to make changes before actually posting your message.
