Joe,
Believe me, I've tried...but no one is parting with it. For good reason, too....all other products are grossly inadequate. I did get an interesting idea from someone though. I have yet to test this myself, but someone I met in this community told me to use Hartz Flea Powder for Cats. Apparently a big name in California uses it religiously (If you would like to know who, email me, I'm not comfortable naming names in a public forum). Use it conservatively in or under your substrate, and it's suppose to work really well. The nice thing is, if it works, it's only about $3 a can.

Good luck, Chris O

Reptile Relief is awesome. It's non-harmful to the snakes and absolutely annihilates mites. You spray it directly on the snakes and can use it to clean cages.

Sorry to pop your bubble but you couldnt sell that stuff in here for $1.00 per bottle.

I've seen mites walk right through it unphased.......

Reptile releif works, it just takes some time, you have to change the bedding to newspaper, and it takes several treatments, and time, BUT ITS SAFE!!! Other products do kill mites fast, but they are pretty harmful to your snake. I have used reptile relief before, on a couple of my snakes I purchased online, and I got them with mites, and after a few weeks of keeping them on newspaper and spraying them a few times, the mites where gone. Reptile relief is safe enough to spray right on your snake, where the other stuff you can't get it near the snake or its water bowl....It all comes down to do you want to play it safe but it may take a little longer, or do you want fast results that could possibly kill your snake if you apply it wrong. Its your call, I would rather take my time and be safe...
Good Luck...
