the opening framed on the right will be for an outswinging door
like for a house. The slightly smaller frame on the left corner
will be for a large double hung window which will be used as
a "doggy door" and can be closed to avoid drafts in the winter.
He will have the inside blocked off if he must stay in so as
not to get to the lower glass panels.
