Looking for a Positive ID

I got this turtle from a guy in California, the turtle is most likely not from Cali, I think it's a cooter of some sort. It would be good to know...

Both nice turtles either way. They tend to like a lot of veg in their diet so try feeding Dandelion greens, chicory and escarole. For water plants water hyacinth and Java fern are usually munched pretty well.

Nice turtle. I have both species but got them as adults so I never raised them up from little guys. I am just guessing River cooter because of the pattern of the swirls on the shell.

Looks like a juvenile Yellowbelly slider to me ...(Trachemys s. scripta)
