Immobility

My Blue Auratus finally ate a good amount. But he has a small bush of large viney leaves that he likes to live in, he'll come out and explore usually atleast once a day that I see. My question is, he would only really hang around this plant to eat the flies, he appeared to be looking for more, but wouldn't go out and explore to find any. I know they're a little shy, so do I give in and A. make sure the flies land on his plant, B. put more plants in? or do I say deal with it or you don't eat? Tough love.

I don't know what your set up looks like, but I found that when I scattered around more cover--something they could dash behind quickly or duck under always nearby, it helped encourage them to explore. I kind of go with the "tough love" route-- make them work a bit for their bread.
