Alternate foods for Eastern Hognose

Is it ok for an Eastern to eat either a Slimy Salamander (Plethodon glutinosus) or an African Dwarf Clawed frog?

I've never tried a salamander, and I'd feel sorry for a hog that had to consume Plethodon (concrete slime. A few platyrhinos aficionados I've met have fed African clawed frogs with success. Clawed frogs aren't practical for anything but hatchlings (unless you're willing to spend the $$ or live in SoCal and can catch them). Good luck. Shane
