I have a lil RES, and there is a white type film on it's shell, and I was wondering if it was shell rot or just shedding. I have a link to a picture... Any input would be helpful, thanks!

What is his set-up like. This looks like a bacterial slime (plaque) on his shell. I would gently wipe him down and get that it off of him.
