Crawl cay boas?? Are they the same thing as Cay Caulker boas?

I have seen both advertised and talked about, I was wondering if they where the same boa? or are the different? Thanks

There both Insular form's of (BCI). Check out Gus's web-site he has the best Info. on Insular/Island Form's of BCI at www.riobravoreptiles.com click on the Livestock & Site Index, and then click on Island Boa's, there's some good Info.there. Take Care !

They are technically different. Both Crawl cay and Cay Caulker used to be the same island before I believe Hurricane Hattie blew through and carved a channel between them. Since then, the boas on both cays have evolved differently.

My Cay Caulker has rougher scales and is a darker color with heavy pattern compared to my crawl, who is lighter in color with less pattern. The Crawl also has a wider range of lights and darks, depending on time of day/mood/etc.

Well, shoot. I was totally misinformed. Guess my source of information doesn't have a clue.

They evolved on different cays and are completely different. Sometime this evening I'll try and take a comparison shot with my female cay caulker and female crawl cay. Even the feel of their scales is different, and the crawls change hue dramatically.
