I posted this in the fall but I would still appreciate more opinions please.
What is the hardiest turtle for an outside pond ? I'm in Oregon. I would like to keep them out year round. Pond is 12' L x 6' W x 4' deep concrete and there will be a large soil area to easily climb out of the water and dig into. It freezes here sometimes/snow once in awhile but it also gets in the 100s in the summer.
Someone suggested native turtles but which is hardier : RES, Eastern Painted, Western Painted or ???
