I don't know how much coverage they'll get but the trailer shows a C. n. nubila swimming - in salt water me thinks!

It's very likely they will cover the native Cyclura, but even if they don't it looks great. Nature does such good documentaries and Carribean ecology is so facinating; it has to be good!

The show is tomorrow. The site is operational.

Of side interest, they show an image of a Chamaeleolis (probably C. guamuhaya) in the top center slide show.

Is it any good. How much on "cubans". I missed it, should I try to see it?

thanks

Sorry about the late reply. I didn't see your post until now... Yes, it aired as scheduled. As expected, it was not a comprehensive treatise on C.n.n's but it did show the habitat of the area upon which they focused. It also mentioned their ability/propensity to swim. There was a 'slip' (my opinion) in the discussion of the origin/migration of these igs to the island but I'll let you make your own determination on that topic or I can post it in a separate thread, if desired.

Overall I was pleased with the production and will be getting a copy of the DVD. It is available via the link in the original post, the link below or you can navigate from pbs.org.
