I have a feeling that it might be because its winter but if that is the case does anone know how llong they might go before they start eating again???

What type of skink? and how old are they? some of the BTS do not need brumation/cooling to breed. I have never cooled down my Meraukes or Irian Jayas for breeding, just change light cycles. Some of my kingsnakes and boas are this way also. And they all reproduce every year. Barometric pressures of winter do effect all reptiles with feeding cycles though.
