Update on my new Leos

felanmoira Jan 14, 2005 10:54 AM

They're both doing great ...the one with a thinner tail is starting to add some fat to that tail.

They've both shed, so they're a little more "spotty". I'm really enjoying watching how they change when they shed. I love this stripes to spots thing!

They're getting about 4-5 crickets daily and I love watching them eat ... they're like little cats with they're stalking and tail wagging and pouncing.

I am definitely hooked! I want more!!!!

Oh - Also got a chance to weigh them ..
the bigger tailed one is 8 grams, the thinner tailed one is 6 grams and they're about 2 1/2 inches long.

You should get them off the sand its very dangerous for babies especially if your feeding them crickets they might ingest the sand if they miss a cricket and become impacted, i use tiles and papertowls and it works great.

They are addictive, aren't they? Careful, I started with one leo too. Now I have way too many. I have way too many and not enough yet, at the same time, if you know what I mean.
