What type of substrate is that? Looks like peat moss. How does it work for you? I like it! Andy

It's coconut pith fiber aslo know as Bedabeast, ecoearth, or Down to earth. I use it and I love it, it holds humidity well covers up odors and it is safe if your snake eats a little. I buy cases fo the stuff from the beanfarm.com

What's up, Andy? Thanks for the kind words reguarding the Brazilians. The substrate is something called Bed-A-Beast. It comes as a brick and all you do is add water to it and it swells up and breaks apart into what you see in the pic. There are other companies that make it under different names but it's all the same stuff - ground up coconut fibers from the ouside of coconuts. I like it and have been using it for years. It supposedly won't cause impaction and I have never had a problem yet. It gives a nice look to any setup and holds moisture very well so you can soak 1/2 of the cage and it will keep the humidity up for days.---------RON
