You shouldnt keep a pair together, only put together to breed. Too much stress, one could end up dying. Unless it is a HUGE cage it wont work. I would suggest in either purchasing two 75 gallons (minimum 55 gallon, but bigger the better) or building two seperate cages. Just dont house them together. ALSO just warning you, be prepared for the cost of babies if you do decide to breed. They can eat tens of THOUSANDS of crickets a week, and you will need tons of enclosures, UVB bulbs, basking lights, etc. Not to mention the female will lay multiple clutches of up to 35 eggs (avg. 20-25), meaning you must house every single one of these dragons. You will also find out that it is very hard finding homes for all of your babies and making a profit. Especially if they are not high color. Right now, Im lucky to break even and in my opinion I have very colorful stock! Just forewarning you!
Good luck!
Let us know what you choose!
