New WhiteTreeFrog, important Questions

sw0rdf15h Jan 14, 2005 08:30 PM

I just got a white's tree frog, I'm wondering if what i'm keeping it in will be adequate? It's in an old hexagonal fish tank w/ a water bowl at the bottom and a rubber flexi-branch in it. It has a full plexi glass cover & a fish light though, which I don't know if it's safe. How much ventilation do they need? Any suggestions?

They need ventilation. You should try to get a screen top. They also need some type of heat. An undertank heater works well. They need to be misted with non-clorinated water at least once a day.

Alright i've got him in my old pacman set up, it's a 2.5 gal tank with two heaters. I know it's small I'm lookin into an upgrade soon.

WTF need at least 20 gallons per frog. Temp should be around 75. Humidity 40 to 60%.
