Eating timeout...

I know for colubrids that you're supposed to allow a good 2 days after eating before you can handle them, but I was wondering is there any difference for a chondro? Since they don't defecate as often do they have a slower metabolic rate altogether or what?

I don't know personally with chondros (yet) but for all my other boids its been about the same some of mine are ok after only a few hours or a day I just go by their activity level. I have heard that chondros might be a little more sensitive.

Both of my chondros defecate weekly usually wed. or thurs. when i feed on sat. I feel the 48 hour rule applies to these guys, yours may be a little different being an adult as mine are still growing. Clint
