Are there any tips or advice for keeping and getting the most color from your dragon? Like diet or lights etc. Things that you have actually seen seem to work?
Thanks

Happy dragons tend to display their best colors. If you want to maximize the color potential from your dragons the best thing to do is provide the best possible environment for them. Make sure temps are where they need to be, keep them hydrated, supplements, proper lighting etc. Many people believe that proper UVB lighting will help bring out better color in your dragons. I have also heard, though I don't really believe it, that feeding carrots will enhance the orange coloration in your dragon. None of this will help pass genetics onto offspring but can affect the color or appearance of your dragon. The best way to get intense colors form your dragons is to spend the extra money for the colorful bloodlines. I figured you meant making the ones you've already got better though.

LOL>..The same thing happened to me. I bought a beardie from a petstore that was very orange. The owner even told me it was that orange because she ate carrots all the time. I didn't believe this until about two weeks after getting her home and her color went from orange to brown. I don't mind supplementing with carrots but I know to many can be a bad thing for them. So yes it will change their color but I know to many can have adverse health effects on them.
Hi
uvb/uva lighting wil change color in a dragon !!
even normal colord dragons can get more color after they r exposed for 1,2 months.
fruits/veggies who contain the colors red, yellow, orange contain betacarotene.
i know it have efect on the pigment.
if we whould drink a 3,4 glases freshcarrot juice and go in sun then whe also wil turn darker .
maybe some thing for michail jackson i liked him more darker with a nice nose
and the mood of the dragon also have some thing to do
is he cold and stressed then he is dark.
is he heated up and feeling relaxed then he wil show his nice colors.
and afcourse the genectics of the beardie is most importent.
so all those things togheter give you a nice colord beardie.
