Ok i just bought the Cannon Powershot A85 as a starter camera for shots of my reptiles, or any other subject as well. Now i played with the camera for a week or so.I took pics of my Cresteds and my Boas, and got them on the puter.I went to post them on a forum that im a member of and it let me post the pics of my cresteds but told me my file was too big for my boas.So my question is how do i resize pics?Do you do it on the digi or the puter? Thanks in advance, im kinda a computer idiot dont really know what the heck im doin, lol.Ill get there slowly but surely...anyone wanna give me a boost?

I'm surprised at the lack of activity on this board. Judging from all the photos posted across all of the other forums, there are a ton of photographers on this site. Anyhow, you can change the size of photos with the camera or with a picture editor. I don't have any experience with Canons, by my old Coolpix 800 allows you to choose the picture quality (translates to file size) by selecting basic, normal, or fine. It's easy to adjust file size and actual physical picture dimensions on the computer. Scroll down to the Dec. 8 post by chrish describing how to do this in paint. Any other picture editor should have a similar function.

Cheers,
WK
