well theres a reptile show in south carolina in about 2 weeks in columbia. its kinda new the way they're doing it, its usually one of those 2-day things, but the popularity of the one show a year has led them to have a one-day show supposedly as big as the 2 day shows. im wondering what peoples' opinions are as to whether or not ill be able to find any uro's at this show. since that shipment has come in so recently, im really hoping that some people will be carrying them, because no one was back in september and october. i've seen classifieds here from a pretty good variety of vendors, even one in the mountains of north carolina selling mossies and satanics. i remember seeing a ton of male satanics for $35 a piece last time they had a show in columbia, and thats actually where i got my first female that ended up producing my 3 beauties. i have a tendency to splurge at these things, but do you guys and girls think ill be able to find anything there? you think the prices will be as ridiculous as they have been around here?

I didnt know there was going to be a show in SC so soon, let alone right here in columbia. I thought it moved to Greenville...I guess the attendence wasnt as ggod as it had been in columbia. Anyways, I will definitly be there. Drop me a line and let me know if you decide to go...

i would imagine the cheapest you'll find at a show at this time would be 80 dollars or so. even if you watch the people you normally get them from their prices have probably atleast doubled since this time last year. the place i get them from had them for 35 ( males and females) last year. now when they have them they're around 65 dollars and that's the cheapest i've found for quite awhile. hopefully you'll have some good luck finding some since you've been having decent luck breeding them.

along with this i was wondering if anyone who deals directly with importers or who follows the CITES information closely has heard of any limits on importations that have been set. ( one person in the classifieds says 25 of each species per shipment)
just curious if anyone had any information on this.

...i deal directly with importers, thats why I don't advertise my contacts. I spend lots of time establishing myself with them so I can place 40 animal orders at any given moment.

have you heard any talk about what the limits on the importations are going to be?
