You should quarantine all new snake just to be safe. I would go get the cage from your friend or get another one. It's been done before, your boas more than likly will not attack eachother but any parasites or R.I's can and will spred to your other boa

You will see and hear some people who do not quarentine or rarely quarentine new animals, and many get away without any issues.. But when an issue does occur you could be risking the life of your animals.. It is not worth it to house multiple animals together, especially when one is brand new to your collection..

i put them together to see what would happen. the columbian has just been feed so he is not too active. the guyana is on the active side. the columbian doesnt seem to care but sumtimes fliches to get the guyana away. 30mins went by and they are just laying together. i just want to make sure one will not attack the other. this will only be for a day.

You just made a big mistake. If the newly aquired boa has IBD, you have sentenced both boas to death. It does not matter if it is for one day or one hour. It may be too late now, but if you really care about these boas and they do survive (consider yourself lucky) don't do a move as you did in the future. Many people have been careless and just assumed their boas were okay and ended up loosing their whole collections. Ask around, I'm sure they are on kingsnake and will give you excellent advice. You basically have to ask yourself.... is it worth the risk?

I would never risk putting mars with an animals that has not been quarantined for several months and properly checked by a qualified vet.
