Can there be a Jungle pattern that is not genetic?...More...

victory May 15, 2003 09:00 PM

I have a breeding trio of Rainwater Albinos and they produced a total of 12 babies for me. One Female has a complete circle right between her back legs. This same female produced 4 babies, all of which had that same circle. Two of them also had a strange "jungle" pattern. What I am wondering is if this could be a fluke or if I should sell them as jungle babies. Any input would be helpful.

if the tails are abarant as well, go with jungle, if not, they're just odd normals.

Sell those animals as jungles and you'll have about as much cred as Petco, not to mention opening yourself up to getting sued for fraud.

I have lots of albinos hatch out with circle you describe, it is very common and does not mean the animal is a jungle or even close, I don't even consider it abberant.

oh, maybe i didnt read it well. i was under the influence that their bands were broken or something. ya, thats meaningless really. jungles should be totally jumbled pattern.
