I bought this little guy at petco today... I love it so much already! What type is it besides being tangerine?

What state did you buy him in and how much was he? BC the petcos here in NJ i never find baby tangs or anythings besides normals and albinos

bought him in Texas, they sell albinos, normals, high yellows, tangerines, and patternless.

damn thats a really nice baby, so orange! I didnt think petco would sell such nice leopard geckos. I think its just a tangerine, maybe it has like...an abberant pattern or something (if thats the right name for it..), but nothing else. Good luck with your new gecko

Might be a Chocolate x Tangerine Tremper Albino. Very nice lookin gecko!

That is a Nice baby. You did good. Besides being very cute and tangerine, he shows good signs of becoming a nice tang adult (some baby tangs fade to almost normal yellow as adults). It's a good sign that the color is intense on his limbs right down to him toes almost. It's good that there's the orange color on his head: jawline, eyelids, neck, and the orange already showing up thru the dark on top of his head.
How much black spotting he will end up with remains to be seen tho. Should be fun to watch him develop.
