looks like a normal light phase southern to me.

There have been a few Hypos produced over the past couple of yrs. and I am sure will become a staple in Agkistrodon collections as they are "top of the line" Copperheads. They appear in the same litter w/ wild-type siblings from breeding normally coloured adults. The two in the pic. are sibs. Hypos are the most abundantly found morph in the wild as they are basically lighter versions (reduction of black pigment) of normals. This trait is indeed genetic. There are a few morphs that are found w/in a "locality" because they are confined by natural boundaries which eventually results in inbreeding.
