Belching

Is it usual for beardies to belch (burp) because one of mine does it regularly? Is this cause for concern please?

Can you explain what you mean by "belching" exactly? Do you mean that your dragon is making "poofing" noises with his/her mouth by forcing air between his lips? If so, it could be a sign of a respiratory infection. My dragon was doing this a while back and he became very sick (almost died). Make sure that his basking temps are high enough and you should think about getting him some antibiotics from the vet.

Well, he is going "parp". Definitely not a poofing noise. Maybe I should have mentioned that I rescued him about five months ago and he was suffering from MBD. Although his legs got better and he can now walk perfectly well, his mouth is somewhat deformed and his tongue is exposed all the time. I don't know if this is relevant. Apart from this, he appears very healthly.
