Hiding Under Papertowel????

jessica51202 Jul 04, 2003 07:35 PM

Ok so we just switched our 2 leos into a 20gal tank....well since we've done that, the old leo insists on hiding under the paper towels????? I have tried to get it to hide in its normal hide like it use to do when it was in the 10 gal. but it still wants to hide under the paper towels?? Is this abnormal? and how can I fix it??

My gecko just started doing this also. He does it every summer for some reason, so i dont think its a very uncommon thing for those who use paper towels. He has three different hides in his cage, but for some reason he loves to be under the paper towels in the summer. I wouldnt worry about it too much.

geckos only can do what comes naturally. when they go under the paper towels, it's cos' it makes them feel better. let them do what they want.

It just feels more secure under there that's all. Providing more hides in different areas of the tank should fix it.
