Poop Question

IguanaMama Jan 16, 2005 08:38 AM

My adult gecko pooped out what looks like 2 whole crickets. The poop looks like they were compressed into a cylindar shape, but I can see the head, antenna, etc. Urates look normal. What is that all about? These were really big crickets, does that mean anything?

It sounds more like a regurgitated meal than poop. Were urates attached, you know, right alongside it, like usual poop? If not, I'd say she threw up the crickets. As to why, I don't know. If she doesn't throw up any more meals then I'd say she just ate too much or too fast or it disagreed with her, and it was a one-time thing and not to worry. But if she throws up any more meals then there is something wrong.
