I'm gonna git me some of those one of these days. Have you found them tricky to feed?

Hi John,
The female eats anything (she's the larger of the two and about 5 years old). The male is fussy- only likes live fuzzies or small hoppers. I've had him nearly a year (he's about 3 or 4 years old) and haven't gotten him to switch to f/t yet. Other than the live feeding with the male- no trouble at all.

Not a great shot but I like the snake.

Cool snakes. I can only boast of one Scalaris (m).

Be sure to put up a pic when you can. This stuff helps me get through the long winter. And it's fun.

I don't keep European ratsnakes, in general, but I do have a few leopard snakes. Here's a spotted one....

Here's the striped male....

These are yearlings and I don't photograph them very often. I'll try to get some new pics soon. The female is just coming out of brumation.

I have kept several European species in the past...longissima, quatuorlineata, and almost Europeans...persica and dione. Let me know if you need any input.
