Where are all the Black Milk snake owners and their pic's?????

RoadSpawn Jan 16, 2005 01:35 PM

Hello
I just got a male blk milk. It is already my favorite. I have boas and pythons but for some reason the milk it the one I spend the most time with. I can't wait until he's an adult.

I used to have a pair of black milks. Man I miss them. This is the female

Here she is again with a nice clutch.

RoadSpawn Jan 16, 2005 03:41 PM

What type of enclosure do you keep her in?

I don't have her anymore. When I did have her, I kept her in a home made rack with rubbermaids or I also had her in a cage built by custom cages. it was 30LX 12D X 14H

It's one of my favorites too, not only for it's beauty, but its calm demeanor. Here's my '02 male that is now pushing 50".

Do you mind if I ask what strain? San Antonio? Beautiful animals!

weekendherper Jan 18, 2005 03:49 PM

I actually have no idea what strain he is, although not for lack of trying to find out. He's really had a growth spurt recently and has grown almost 6" in the last 3 months!
I use aspen for most of my snakes and find it quite easy to keep clean while providing something for them to burrow in. It also looks a little nicer than newspaper.

Here's a more recent pic.

My daughter recently turned 11. Talk about 6" in 3 months! Kids grow a lot faster. Enjoy it while you can. Being a dad is way cool. Thanks again for your time and the info.
