This is a rather dark Greeri from Eric Kikel. It is a younger sibling to the only striped Greeri in existence.

I've never figured out why these guys don't get more attention. They are gorgeous snakes that are very reminiscent of the ever popular Gray Bandeds. They are definitely on my list for this next season.
Mark,
I never figured out why These Greeri AND Mex mex never get the attention that Alterna get. Don't get me wrong I love Altena as well and keep and breed them too. They both have variability as do all mexicana kings. Look at the Mex mex below and tell me why those too don't get recognized like alterna do. I know laws of bringing wild blood back to the U. S. from Mexico will not allow us to know the specific locale of these animals, but we can line breed them and produce specimens that never will be seen in the wild.
Selective Propagation and not Natural Selection. They will still be "pure" just not locale specific. Just look at the brightly colored Thayeri everyone are producing and you will see what line breeding can produce.
Thanks

They are just too darn interesting to stay in the background for long. I know I'm not the only person musing about them. I very well might need to get a pair this year....... Keep the pics coming.
