in house pond?

burunx Jan 16, 2005 05:17 PM

Hello,

I have been wanting to make a pond for inside of my home, but would like some suggestions. At first I was going to use a hard plastic kiddie pond (BTW, this is mostly to house my RES who is now about 3 inches in diameter), but I cannot find one that I like. Now I am thinking about using 2x4's and some plastic pond liner. Anyway, does anyone have any hints or suggestions on making this type of pond. If you have one yourself, I would LOVE to see pictures.

Thanks so mych,
Rebecca and Crush (The RES)

I have an indoor pond. I bought a 165 gallon preformed
pond at Lowes. The kind that goes in the yard. It is
free standing right now but I intend to build it in. I
just haven't decided what I want as yet. It was only
$100. Try buying an aquarium at that price

It has two ledges, one I use for plants and one for
their basking area. I have a piece of corkbard fixed
to it so they can climb up. The lights are over this
area.

Hope this helps
Linda
