Do not worry about some of these " bone heads and geniuses " you asked a question and hear is your answer; " Blister Disease, is caused two ways. " One, is the animal sitting on or in stagnant water " remeber that non-moving water goes stagnant after 48 hours and then becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and that is why it should be changed every 48 hours. " Second and really the main cause of Blister Disease is, " sitting on feces and urates for extended periods of time. " Piss on yourself and walk around with it for a day and you will get a diaper rash.Cleaning your snakes immediately after defecation or urate deposit " or at least as soon as possible " and keeping the water and or humidity from becoming stale, will prevent Blister Disease. If you already have a snake with it, you can use ointment like " Neosporin " to help treat it. Hope this helps.......GOD BLESS.........Johnson Herp
