BP not eating, not the normal fast.......

Ses01 Jan 16, 2005 07:50 PM

Hi everyone. My adult BP has not eaten in a month. He just got over a respiratory infection, could that be why? I'm just worried about him since his spine is slowly starting to show. Not much, but noticible from what it was. I've tried feeding him quite a few times and he just isn't interested. His temps are about 88 on one side, 80 on the other, his humidity is about 30% general, and he has a humid hide that maintains at 65%. Any ideas? He has a vet appt. on the 18th for a check up.

Thanks a lot everyone.

He may be going through a normal fast, it is that time of year. If his respiratory infection is cleared up, it will be just a matter of time until he starts eating again.

Good luck,

Yeah, both of my adults are refusing this time of year and I haven't cylced them. Just keep trying once every week or two, by April he'll be eating again. Remember, adults can go many months without eating and still be OK. Mine always seem to stop right after New Year's... I think it is their new year's resolution...but they never make it past march.

Good luck
