Which snakes make good investments other than ball pythons and why?

Just wondering. In addition, how's the temperment of the animal(s) you suggest?

thanks

Jaguar carpet pythons. They aren't exceedingly expensive, are incredibly beautiful, and their genetics have not yet been fully explored. Babies can be nippy, but carpets are generally as easy to care for as balls.

Green tree pythons. These things are awesome, and come in a lot of stunning colors. If you're interested in them, Greg Maxwell's book is a great place to start. www.finegtps.com

Bloods seem to be gaining in popularity lately and have some neat morphs. I don't know much about them, though.

Personally, if I can be somewhat successful with my modest ball python investment of two normal girls, a male ghost and a male pastel, I am going to invest in angolan pythons next. They appeal to me, being much like ball pythons. Really, if you are looking to "invest," go with something you like.
