what kind of dragon?

antares Jan 16, 2005 10:33 PM

I was at the White Plains Reptile Expo today and was talking to a breeder about some bearded dragons he had but I can't remember what they were called but sounded really interesting. I think he called them Giant Frost beardeds but I'm not sure. He described them as growing to about 36" with white, or frostlike, patterns going down the back with very pale skin.

If anyone can tell me the right name to this bearded it would be appreciated, pictures even better! Thanks

Never heard of such dragons. ALot of breeders make up names for thier "new" morphs, and perhaps a "Giant Frsot" could be a german giant x luestic? or GG x hypomalenestic?

What does everyone else think?

That's the white plains blizzard patterned dwarf beardless dragon.... It's new but I think your mistaken as they are only 3.6" long. The "frosted pattern" they have is created by removing calcium from the diet which also explains the small size. They don't live very long but they look really cool while your raising them. HA!
