Skin blister is a infection usually associated with too damp of an environment. Start by drying the snake out. Only newspaper and a hide box for a substrate and a small water bowl for drinking only, not big enough for him to soak in.
Second, using a medium solution of bedydine (a dark tea color of bedydine and water mix) wip the snake down with it of soak him in it for a couple minutes at a time 2-3 times per day.

Now this will only help and more than likely not cure it. The blister infection is not a topical infection, it is indeed in the "system" of the snake and depending on the bacteria causing it it will need some sort of antibiotic treatment to cure. (if it is a fungus problem then it is a whole other matter)
My first suggestion would be to get another vet if the only one you have access to is out of town for two weeks and no one is covering for him/her. They always have someone on call for emergencies? Second once you find the vet, have him refer to Dr. Mader’s book of herp medicine. Even a non-herp vet can treat a simple infection with the instructions in his herp med bible. The problem is, you need to get the meds from the doctor and no over the counter treatment will do. The infection will be easier to clear sooner then later, if you put it off too long then the treatment will be extended and more costly.
Good Luck

Blister disease is kind of serious. Find a new vet like the dude said! But if its just minor scalation, then put some polysporin on it a couple times a day, everyday until the shed comes about. My Blood python had some reddish/rust colored bits on his bottom scales so I applied poly on it and it shed yesterday and it was completely gone. Betadine also works well...I used that at the same time with my snake. If its a real blister case, I dont think a topical ointment will do much to cure the snake at all
