So, I have owned ball pythons for many years and now I am going to try breeding. Here is Sydney, an '04 nerd line pastel that seems to get brighter and brighter with every shed.

Sydney will be bred to Vaughn an '04 bell line pastel...he will also be keeping some other ladies happy while Sydney gets up to size. Here is Vaughn...not quite as bright as Syd, but he is the most aggressive eater I have ever seen in a BP. He literally lunges 2/3s of his body out of his hide after a F/T mouse. He coils around the F/T mouse so tight he has blown the guts out the side of the mouse at least twice and he is only about 250 grams.

Finishing off my small collection is a male brown back (snakey) who has been with me since he was hatched in 2001 and Iraina who is a fairly large CB female that I just picked up. They are both about 48" and maybe 2000g She is great, but the owner I purchased her from fed her hamsters for 4 years, so it should be fun switching her over to mice and rats, so far one mouse has gone down. She also has a few noticable scars from hamster bites...don't feed your snakes hamsters...or at least not live ones...or at least don't leave them in the cage for long periods of time.

LOL there was a local pet store here that would occasionally get large, mean hampsters that they couldn't sell. I always offered a garbage disposal(my male) to dump them down. Would get a freebe that way once in a while, and the snake was accurate and quick enough that he never got bit.
Finally, here is a pic of my cousins spider. We already have the breeding loans worked out...bumblebees...here we come.

Nice Spider

Now, spiders I like, bumblebees I like even more.
Thanks, we got him as part of a package deal from the chicago reptile house. How much would you pay for 1.0 bell line pastel, 0.1 nerd line pastel, and 1.0 spider, all '04 CH and over 200g and eating F/T? So far (three months) these snakes have been great and are growing fast. It really is true that spiders will eat almost anything at anytime.

I belive I would pay around 7-8,000. for all 3 animals.
The break down would be as follows:
1.0 Spider ............5,000.....200 grams or lower
1.0 Bell Pastel........1,000....200 gram or lower...maybe 750.00
0.1 Nerd lemon pastel..2,000....200 grams or less...maybe 1500.00
That is about what I would pay of course I would want them cheaper. Thanks David
Yep, thats about right on what I paid...and I think that's a hell of a deal.
They are awesome snakes, IMO.

A cool pic of Sydney not being the least bit camera shy

Best of luck to you.

Thanks! She's a real "people snake" not really shy for her size at all, I even think she likes to be held.
Watch Alias much? LOL.
Eric
Good job...wasn't sure if anyone would pick up on that...
Now do you think sydney will cry if vaughn mates with Iraina?
If I get another breeder male I will name him either Jack (Bristow) or Arvin (sloan). If another female, I'm thinking Lauren.
