are super worms as easy to take care of as mealworms?
what do they eat?
what should I keep them in?
what substrate do they need?
thanks.

Less chitin than mealies, softer. But some people prefer the mealies because they are smaller. I personally like and only use superworms.
You do not refrig the supers, they last a long time, in a rubbermaid container of some sort screen lid for good ventalation. Don't even need a lid if its high enough. A 10 gallon tank works for a few hundred, I dont like to crowd to much.
They like old egg crates, cardboard, they sort of shread it.
I use an old cooler no lid, its about the size of a 20 gallon tank, I buy them by the thousands. They eat everthing the crickets can eat.
Greeens, collards, kale, romaine, squash , potato, orange chunks, apple chucks, carrot chunks, dry dogfoods crushed, dry catfood crushed. Alot of things.
