dandelions

is there anywhere that i can find dandelions online or otherwise? i would like to add them to pugsly's menu (redfoot) but they dont seem very common here in central florida

You can obtain seeds and grow your own through Turtlestuff.com.

Other weed, grass and floral seeds are also available.

Check to see if you have either a Whole Foods or a local food co-op near you. Either one should have oganic dandelions in their fresh vegetable section. It's where I get mine from November through ealy April.

I thought they grew all over North America. They are my tortoise's favorite food but I can't imagine paying money for something so many people spend big buck try to eradicate.

i have only seen a few here. i believe that they were introduced to new england from europe. here in central florida, there are some here and there in expensive, commercially kept lawns, but are rarely found growing wild. i wonder why that is?
