sav feeding behavior

savannah_lover Jan 17, 2005 03:45 PM

I have notice that my sav will only take the mouse unless i drop it infront of her,if i put it in a bowl she wont eat it but as soon as she see's my hand drop the mouse she gulps it down with ease.Even when i put the mouse in the bowl and set her by it she just walks away but if i take it out of the bowl and drop it by her *gulp* its gone.Does any one know why she does this?
Just wondering

Yeah.. My Sav won't eat anything unless it's hanging down from my hand.. i don't feed him any mice or anything right now but he eats Monitor-meal from a spoon, loves it. and a few mealworms.
